As Grand Porter continues to develop its International Shipping division, we now offer more Ocean Freight Services than ever before, providing you with the ability to ship freight across the globe in a most convenient manner. We can track your shipment at any point along the way and transit times are incredibly dependable and reasonable.
We can import and export from most major shipping ports worldwide, and can coordinate ground, intermodal and air transport around the ocean portion of your shipment.

We have access to a variety of container options, offering a range of standard and special containers. We will provide you the most suitable container to meet the needs of your shipment. Most containers can take a payload of up to 60,000 lbs.
General Purpose Containers
Suitable for any general cargo. Containers may be equipped with liner bags suitable for bulk cargo and equipped with fork-lift pockets for loaded containers.

Specialty Containers
There are many specialty container types available to ensure that freight is moved in a safe and secure manner. We will work with you to provide the correct container option best suited to your freight. Listed below are a few specialty container options that are available, but there are many different types:
Hard Top/Open Top Containers
These containers were specifically constructed to handle heavy loads and excessively high loads. They have the capability to be loaded via crane, through roof opening and door side. The hard top container is equipped with a removable steel roof, while the open top container comes fitted with a removable tarpaulin. Available in 20 ft. or 40 ft. container size.
Flatbed Containers
This container option is great for heavy loads and oversize cargo as well as project cargo. Available in 20 ft. or 40 ft. container size.
Ventilated Containers
Specifically for cargo which needs ventilation. Available in 20 ft. container size.
Refrigerated Container (Temperature Controlled Container)
Container available to maintain temperature control range as low as -35°C up to + 30°C in a surrounding environment of up to 50°C. Available in 20 ft. or 40 ft. container size.
